Ernest Whitmore, Organist and Choir Director
Since 2008, Ernest has graced Peace Lutheran with his God given
gift of organ music at the 5:00pm Saturday at 8:30am Sunday
worship services. He studied organ performance at North Texas
State University in Denton. After finishing his Master's degree
in 1985, Ernest taught (mostly Math) at John Brown University,
the University of Arkansas, and Ecclesia College, while serving
as organist at First United Methodist, Siloam Springs.
"I truly love hymns, and our Lutheran heritage in sacred music
is just phenomenal. It thrills me that Luther and his comrades
transformed Christian worship by introducing the congregational
hymn; 250 years later Bach revolutionized things all over again,
still largely based on Luther's hymnody; and now 500 years after
the Reformation we are STILL singing Luther's thoughts and
melodies--in Northwest Arkansas, of all places! Amazing!" –

Nick Intintoli, Praise Team Leader
Nick has been leading the 11:00am Sunday Praise Team since the
beginning of 2018 and has been a member of Peace for over 10
years. His love for worshiping through music performance began
as a child singing in the Children's Choir at his home church in
Arizona and has continued since. Prior to moving to Northwest
Arkansas, Nick attended the University of Arizona where he
studied in several music classes focused on vocal performance
before graduating with a degree in Marketing in 2007.
“I love being able to lead our live band and vocals at the
11:00am service. I’m passionate about bringing new songs to the
congregation, with a focus on relevant music that helps connect
the message to your heart with song.” - Nick |
